With numerous exceptional golf courses in Orlando, it was difficult to narrow the field to just 10 Orlando golf courses. Unfortunately, some past favorites failed to make the list with several other good golf courses. After surveying golfers and golf course operators while taking into account our staff's personal experiences, we have finalized the 2023 Best Golf Courses in Orlando. We update the list every 2 years. Our Orlando golf course rankings are based on course conditions, course design, guest service experience, cost, playability, accessibility, and location. There are more than 100 public layouts in the Orlando golf marketplace, but we made the task of choosing your next Orlando tee time a little easier by narrowing the list down to the top...
With a strong recommendation from Golf Orlando Florida, our expectations were very high for Shingle Creek Golf Club. Our expectations were exceeded. Our next visit to Orlando will include this wonderful golf course. On the must list with Orange County National and ChampionsGate.
Shingle Creek was in amazing condition, especially the greens. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Fun design surrounded by plenty of nature. Pace of play was a little slow as we played in 4 hours and 30 minutes.
The best conditioned golf course I have ever played. A must play for every golfer that visits Orlando. First on the list when we return to Orlando in January.
Played here after seeing it ranked as best resort course in Orlando. After playing several Orlando golf courses on this trip I will have to agree. Greens were fast, smooth and flawless. Guest service was a cut above all other courses.
Words cannot describe the quality or course conditions and guest service. Everything was first rate. The greens were exceptional. The best of the 5 courses we played in Orlando.
Played this course for the 3. year in a row. It seams like the course doesn't get the credit it deserves. When I asked people at golf warehouse etc for a course they recommended nowbody mention Shingle Creek. By accident and poor map reading we ended ut at the course. What an accident... From you drive up to the clubhouse your treated like a pro. The course was in first class condition! Greens, tees, fwy, rough, everything is perfect. Being from expensive Norway we felt we also got fantastic value for money. Best course I've played in Orlando.
Wow! I would rate Shingle Creek the best golf course in Orlando. From tee to green, everything is first class. Staff was inviting and friendly. Course was in great condition. Not a truly memorable, signature hole. Greens were smooth and quick. Pace of play was a little slow. I expect it on a busy day, so it didn't bother me. With great conditions, I understand why they were busy.
