Orange County National Golf Center is at it again.  Last summer, Orange County National renovated the greens on the Panther Lake course and the results were fabulous.  Orange County National has decided to renovate the greens on the Crooked Cat course this summer.

The renovation will convert the putting surfaces from traditional Tifdwarf Bermuda Grass to the increasingly popular Champion Bermuda Grass...to match the recently renovated Panther Lake course greens.  Champion is one of the new ultra dwarf grasses that allows warm climates to produce putting surface quality equal to, if not better than the bent grass surfaces found up north.   In addition to the change in grass on the greens, green size and configuration will be brought back to the original design specifications thus allowing for increased hole locations and greater variety of course set up.

These tickets will be awarded by random selection after the designated deadline dates.

As in the past, only one application per person or address will be accepted (one per household) and all applicants must be 21 years or older.  As a PGA Golf Professional I have been fortunate to attend the event 3 times...it is an amazing venue to watch golf and more importantly, golf history happen with your eyes and ears as the roars echo thru the majestic pines.
