Fun day of golf at Champions Gate. We played 36 holes and will return. International course would be best option if you only have time for 18 holes. Memorable.
I had a chance to play the international course last year, so I was pleased to play the other 18 at Champions Gate. The National course was a fun test of golf, but didn't have the unique character of the International course. As was the case last year, the staff was very friendly.
This course was quite disappointing to say the least. The condition was fine, but nothing great compared to anything else in the area. This is a $50 course that charges way too much money to play. The layout is bordering boring with only a couple holes you will remember. The lack of consistency is the biggest issue though. You will see everything from a 120 yd par three with NOTHING except grass (no bunkers or water) to an incredibly long par 5 that approaches 600 yds from the White tees.
Overall, this is a waste of money. I paid $95 for this round off a golfnow "discount" and wish an hOnest review was out there. Go play the palms or magnolia at Disney, Grand Pines or either Grand Cypress option for a much better (and usually cheaper) experience.
I've never been to a golf club and been treated nicer! Excellent service! You guys have got it together!! Thanks!
Tough course with lots of bunkers. The green were good and smooth. A good course to test your game. Service was top notch!
Excellent conditions and a fun golf course to play. I enjoyed the National course over the international course. Friendly staff.
Beautiful course and much easier to play than the international. A good challenge, but not too challenging.
Excellent conditions and a fun golf course to play.
The course condition was excellent. Will definitely play again during future trips. We wanted to play a replay round on the International course but it was booked with an afternoon tournament. Plan on booking 36 holes at Champions Gate next trip.
The course was in good condition, but the layout on the National course was uneventful. Luckily, we played the International course as well. I recommend playing the International course, if you only play 18 holes at Champions Gate.
