Orange County National (Panther Lake) Featured
Winter Garden, FL 34787
Orlando County National in Orlando has played host to the 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2010 PGA TOUR Qualifying School Finals and was awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play." The Panther Lake Golf Course is a 7350-yard masterpiece incorporating rolling hills and dramatic elevation changes as it winds through natural oak hammocks, pine trees and freshwater lakes.
A complete greens renovation was completed during the summer of 2011 on the Panther Lake Course at Orange County National. To mirror bent grass greens from the northern states, Orange County National installed Champion Dwarf Bermudagrass. Champion Bermuda provides an exceptional ball roll for optimal putting conditions.
Orange County National topped the list of Best Public Golf Courses in Orlando in 2013 and was named a top 10 Orlando golf course in 2015.
Panther Lake provides great variety and several shot making options. The variety in design is evident in the way no two holes play alike. Every hole on Panther Lake is unique and requires something different from your shot making repertoire. When you finish your round you will likely be able to recall each hole very vividly as they are all very different in appearance and eye-catching appeal. The variety in design is evident in the way no two holes play alike. Each hole is as distinct and memorable as the last on this championship Orlando golf course.
Off the tee, you will face gently sloping fairways guarded by strategically placed fairway bunkers, trees and water hazards that frame the holes and provide a clear line of play. From the fairway, you will hit many approaches into well-guarded elevated greens, which are large and have plenty of contours, so two-putting isn't automatic.
With no housing developments bordering Orange County National, golfers will experience a serene golf experience surrounded by Florida's nature and wildlife. For golfers that want to play 36 holes, the Crooked Cat Course at Orange County National offers golfers another unique Orlando Florida golf experience.
