Eastwood Golf Club Offers Great Value

Eastwood Golf Club Offers Great Value

I recently stumbled upon some good things happening at Eastwood Golf Club in Orlando.  In the late 1990’s Eastwood was one of my favorite Orlando golf courses.  A move to the west side of town and deteriorating course conditions left Eastwood as a distant memory.  After hearing some good “word of mouth” advertising on the street I decided to check out the course for myself.

During a recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised with the improvement of course conditions. The improvements can be attributed to a recent ownership change.  Despite a downturn in the economy, Eastwood has recommitted to improving playing conditions under the direction of owner and general manager Andy Bonus.  During a brief discussion with Mr. Bonus, he was “very excited with the quality course conditions”.

If you haven’t played Eastwood lately, you will definitely want to give them another try.  Eastwood Golf Club is offering some great values, including their Annual Pass Program.  Purchase an annual pass and play for an $18 cart fee year round!

How much does the 2010 Annual Pass cost?  Eastwood is offering two options:

Individual Limited Membership ($1,200)

  • Unlimited Greens Fees (Mon-Fri)
  • Pay Cart Fee of $18
  • Earn 500 Loyalty Points

Individual Unlimited Membership ($1,500)

  • Unlimited Greens Fees 7 Days a Week
  • Pay Cart Fee of $18
  • Earn 500 Loyalty Points

Membership benefits include: complimentary GHIN handicap, 30 day advanced tee times, 50% off range balls, 15% off all pro shop items, and pay cart fee only at Northshore Golf Club.

Visit www.eastwoodgolf.com for full details on the Annual Pass Program.

Not ready to purchase an annual pass?  Well, drive on over to Eastwood and take advantage of some great value on greens fees.  Current weekend morning rates are $45 with lower rates later in the day and on weekdays. Not bad for a course that received a four star rating by Golf Digest in 2009.

Eastwood Golf Club is located minutes from the 408 and 417 expressways in the eastern corridor of Orlando.  Offering three sets of tees, the Lloyd Clifton championship design measures just over 7,100 yards from the championship tees and features rolling fairways.  With swamps and wetlands located throughout the property, water comes into play on 13 holes providing a challenge for all skill levels.  Despite water being prevalent throughout the layout, the fairway landing areas are generally wide providing forgiveness off the tee.

If you’re looking for a fun course in good condition without paying top dollar, give Eastwood Golf Club a try.  You’ll be pleasantly surprised…I was.
