Shingle Creek Golf Club has announced the inaugural ESPN/Shingle Creek Golf Tour.
The first event is a Pro-Am style scramble golf tournament. Amateurs will play a scramble and will have a PGA member play along as their partner. The professional will play his own ball and play for a professional purse in addition of being able to help his team with his score if it is better than his amateur team on any hole.
The first event is scheduled for Friday, August 13, 2010 with an 8:00 am shotgun start. The cost is $80 + tax per player and includes golf, cart, range balls, tee gift, continental breakfast, lunch and prizes.
To register for this event, visit the Shingle Creek Golf Club website. They have a quick and easy online registration.
