The Crooked Cat golf course at Orange County National will play host to the 7th annual Roper YMCA Youth Scholarship golf tournament on Friday, September 18, 2009. The golf tournament will begin at 8:00 am with a shotgun start.
The golf tournament fundraiser will feature a scramble format, awards for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, and numerous course contests. A buffet luncheon and silent auction is scheduled following the tournament.
Three levels of corporate sponsorship ranging from $750 to $2500 are available to provide company exposure and benefit the cause.
All proceeds from the Seventh Annual Youth Scholarship Golf Tournament will be used to provide children and families the opportunity to participate in programs at the Roper YMCA. In 2008, more than $134,000 was raised and provided assistance to more than 1,300 individuals who attended summer camp, participated in aquatic and sport programs along with membership.
Everyone should have the same opportunity to be a member of the Roper YMCA and enjoy the benefits. The goal this year is to raise more than $165,000.
