GolfOrlandoFlorida.com welcomes PGA Professional Brad Hauer as a contributer to the website. Teaching for 25 years, Brad has gained extensive knowledge being mentored under some of the best golf instructors in the country. Featured on the Golf Channel as a guest instructor, Brad has appeared on the Golf Channel’s “Golf Academy Live” six times. He has also produced several one and five minute “golf solutions” for the 24-hour golf network.
Brad will provide ongoing articles with golf tips to help your game. The golf tips will focus on all aspects of the game, including the golf swing, short game and course management.
Brad’s notable students include tennis great, Ivan Lendl and NBA superstar Penny Hardaway. He takes great joy improving the golf game of players with varying skill levels, especially those golfers with a passion for the game.
Brad was the 2004 North Florida PGA player of the year, winning the CPC regional qualifier. He consistently ranks as a top player in the North Florida PGA Section, where he has qualified for 2 national Club Pro Championships, (CPC) and 6 Southern Regional CPC’s.
Brad has competed in four PGA Tour events and one Nationwide event during his career. The highlights of his golfing career include winning the 1984 Ray Fisher Wisconsin State Open with Skip Kendall and Steve Stricker in the field and playing golf with President George Herbert Bush, President George W. Bush, and Ivan Lendl at their golf course in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Brad has worked at prestigious public and private golf clubs throughout his career including: North Shore Country Club (Chicago, IL), Tuckaway Country Club (Milwaukee, WI) and MetroWest Golf Club (Orlando, FL). Brad is currently the Director of Golf at Hammock Beach, home of the Ocean Course and the Conservatory Golf Course. The Ocean Course boasts more holes on the ocean than any other golf course in Florida and the Conservatory is currently ranked as the longest and hardest course in Florida.
