Today, GolfOrlandoFlorida.com unveiled a new web site with a main focus on connecting the Orlando Golf community. The core of the new site is the social networking community features allowing "connection" of golfers to other golfers and golf courses to golfers.
Golfers can create a free account to "join the community" and start connecting with golfers and golf courses. Golfers (and Golf Courses) will have a personalized profile page, the ability to create new groups, invite friends and encourage other golfers "to connect". The website is similar to other social networking websites, but with a golf related focus.

With the state of the economy, it is cost prohibitive for the majority of courses to advertise in traditional print and radio avenues.
