The Florida Safety Council and AM 580 WDBO are partnering for the ninth annual Golf Classic on May 15, 2009 at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. The four person scramble event will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 am.
The cost for registration is $100 for individuals or $375 for foursomes. The tournament entry fee includes: 18 holes of golf, prizes, goody bags and a buffet lunch. Long drive competitions, closest to the pin contests, and raffles will provide opportunities for additional fun and prizes.
The Florida Safety Council has been able to award thousands of dollars in scholorships to college students and support a variety of safety programs with funds raised in previous years.
