There’s an exciting new junior golf tour in the Orlando Marketplace. The Citrus Junior Tour has been launched and it offers a great opportunity for area junior golfers to experience tournament play. The Tour is open to boys and girls, ages 6 through 18. Each tournament has a field of approximately 100-125 players with exciting competition throughout the three boys’ divisions and two girls’ divisions.
The tournament schedule runs year-round with both opportunities to play in either 2-day (36 hole) or 1-day (18 hole) formats, and it offers the ideal playing-environment for both experienced players as well as new competitors. The Tour also provides highly-popular 9-hole formats especially designed for younger players.
All 2-day events are nationally ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard. Plus, in the June through August summer period, the Tour has a very-competitive college division for both young men and women.
