One of Orlando's long time favorites, The Country Club at Deer Run was redesigned by Ron Garl and reopened in 2003.
The course design balances a number wide open tee shots with a number of tight, unnerving tee shots with hazards as the focal point. Shot makers will be rewarded as accurate approach shots will be needed to consistently hit the medium-sized greens.
Originally opening in 1979 as a Lloyd Clifton design, Deer Run offers a variety of holes to keep the golfers debating risk or reward. Deer Run offer lush fairways and TifEagle greens for good playing surfaces.
The Golf Group owns and operates six Orlando, Florida golf courses: Casselberry Golf Club, Deer Run Golf and Country Club, Mount Dora Golf and Country Club, Rock Springs Ridge Golf Club, Twin Rivers Golf Club, and Wekiva Golf Club.
