Featuring 5 sets of tees ranging from 5,225 yards to a daunting 7,268 yards from the championship tees, this Orlando, Florida Golf Course offers a fair, yet demanding test of golf. Spacious, rolling fairways meander among 13 lakes to provide a natural setting for a relaxing round of Orlando golf.

"Hunter's Creek is in it's best shape in years" has been heard over and over again this year from golfers playing this classic Orlando golf course and enjoying its upgrades. From the white sand filled bunkers throughout the course to the greens which many say are the best they have seen in years. With strategically placed bunkers bordering expansive greens, several options and shot selections await the golfer on each hole. This Orlando golf course has played host to several major events: US Open Qualifier (1989-1994), PGA Tour Qualifier(1989), in addition to several FSGA events.

Fun Layout

The local concierge recommended this course with high praise. Unfortunately, the course disappointed. I guess he was getting a kickback. The course design is nice, but the conditions are poor compared to the other courses we played. With so many other options, we won't return.

Good Design Needing Better Conditions

Not too many good things I can say about Hunters Creek except the price. The course has a decent design with some challenging holes, but the course conditions were less than ideal. Pace of Play was quick on the day our group played, maybe because nobody was on the course. It looks like they tried to put some money into the course with new sand in the bunkers, although it was very uneven and resulted in a few plugged lies. Staff was friendly, but overheard them discussing management or ownership problems.

Nice Layout, Fair Conditions

For the price, the course was a viable option. However, the course conditions left a lot to be desired. The layout and design of the course is nice, but the course conditions hamper the experience. The greens were rolling good, but the tees were very uneven. The tee boxes were narrow and crowned on numerous holes making a good setup nearly impossible. The bunkers were washed out from the recent rains. The staff was generally friendly, but didn't go out of their way to provide service seen at other area courses. Pace of play was ok, but the course did not have a ranger on a fairly busy day.
