Orlando, FL 32821
As of March 31, 2015 Grande Pines Golf Club has officially closed. The land was purchased by a developer who has planned to redevelop the land. If you are looking for a golf course close to Grande Pines, both Shingle Creek Golf Club and Falcon's Fire Golf Club are within close proximity to this area of the city.
In partnership with six-time major champion Nick Faldo, renowned golf course architect Steve Smyers created each hole of Grande Pines Golf Club to be a strategic challenge that will bring out the best in each player's game. Considered by golfers to be one of the best Orlando golf courses, Grande Pines featured quality course conditions with a splendid layout. Contoured, gently rolling fairways with numerous ponds and enhanced landscaping are all bordered by tall natural pines, oaks and palms. Numerous undulating greens are elevated and many are well-protected by artfully crafted bunkers.
Nestled among lakes, tall pines, oaks and palms, Grande Pines Golf Club peacefully coexists with the native flora and wetlands. The course is committed to environmental stewardship, and is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses.
Grande Pines is ideally situated right off Orlando's International Drive, next to Marriott's Grande Vista Resort, and close to all the exciting attractions, finest restaurants and the Orlando Convention Center. In addition to Grande Pines Golf Club, Marriott Golf also manages Hawk's Landing Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
Tough course a few notches below the other courses we played. Grand Pines was in good condition. I heard the course is closing down in March or April.
Good course a few notches below the other courses we played.
Good course to play. A little difficult though. Pace of play was brutal.
Enjoyable Round of Golf
We had an enjoyable day of golf. Course was in good shape.
Very Nice Course
A fun course. Everything was good, but nothing was great. Course conditions were nice, but a step below the other courses we played.
